The Astronomical Kid's real name is Brian Bradley and is from the Bed-ford-Stuyvesant area of Brooklyn. He is currently a teen but has been on the seen pretty long now with a North eastern buzz and an X factor appearance he's on the rise.  He has appeared on many talent shows, open mic shows, and public broadcasting stations.
